Approvisionnement en eau : DES TRAVAUX DE RÉHABILITATION DE LA RÉSERVE D’EAU À AMBOHIDEMPONA
Des employés de la Jirama, en collaboration avec le ministère de l’Eau, ont mené des travaux à haute intensité de main-d’œuvre (Himo) au sein de la réserve d’eau d’Ambohidepona. Ces efforts s’inscrivent dans le cadre d’une réhabilitation des infrastructures hydrauliques locales, visant à résoudre les problèmes chroniques de pénurie d’eau.
Présent sur le terrain pour superviser les opérations, le ministre de l’Eau, Lalaina Randriamamelasoa, a souligné que ces travaux auraient dû être entrepris depuis 20 ans. Selon lui, la situation actuelle est le résultat de négligences passées, mais il se montre optimiste quant aux solutions mises en place.
Avec la mise en service complète de l’approvisionnement en eau depuis Mandroseza jusqu’à Ambohidepona, où se situe le principal réservoir, les quartiers d’Ambohidepona, Fort Duchesne et Ampandrianomby devraient bientôt être libérés des pénuries d’eau qui les affectent depuis plusieurs années.
Cependant, le ministre a également précisé que plusieurs canalisations sont actuellement en mauvais état, et des actes de vol d’eau viennent encore aggraver la situation. Ces infrastructures défaillantes seront remplacées, et un plan de travaux d’urgence a été mis en place pour être finalisé dans un délai de trois mois. L’objectif est de mettre fin aux difficultés d’approvisionnement en eau qui touchent une grande partie de la capitale.
Le ministre Lalaina Randriamamelasoa a également mentionné les directives émises par le président Andry Rajoelina, qui visent à résoudre les problèmes similaires dans d’autres districts, comme Tsiroanomandidy, Maintirano, Toamasina, Fianarantsoa et Kandreho.
Enfin, il a appelé à la simplification des démarches administratives pour l’obtention des autorisations nécessaires à l’installation des nouvelles canalisations.
